It's through the active involvement of our members and the results-oriented approach of our councils that the Business Council accomplishes its objectives. Our agenda is member-driven; therefore, every success translates into a significant return on investment and demonstrable results for real business in Westchester.

The Business Council is structured to encourage members to become active participants in the work of the organization, consistent with the individuals' interest, particular expertise and knowledge, and the time they're able to commit to voluntary service.

The Business Council's accomplishments are a result of a multitude of efforts by our members. The Council's councils, committees, and task forces reflect the volunteer efforts which get the work done.

Annual Membership Directory

The Directory contains classified and alphabetically listed business directories and websites. It's a great tool for recruiting, new employee orientation, new residents and for doing business with members and some of Westchester's most established business firms.

Economic Development Guide

The Westchester County Economic Development Book brings together the major forces in the county dedicated to generating new businesses into Westchester, at the same time retaining and encouraging growth among firms currently doing business here:

Relocation Guide

The Guide is sponsored by The Business Council of Westchester and the Westchester County Office of Economic Development. It is an impressive marketing tool to reach new businesses and individuals planning to relocate to Westchester. Contents include an overview of the elements contributing to Westchester's appeal, business climate, economic development, tourism, transportation, government, education, health care, and quality of life.

Commerce Magazine

Commerce keeps members posted on issues and trends impacting businesses in Westchester. It reaches business owners and senior executives at the largest, as well as medium and smaller sized buinesses, in the Westchester area.
