            <title>Business Council Accelerates Fiscal Reform Advocacy Efforts</title>

            <description><![CDATA[On Sunday 10/18, BCW President/CEO Dr. Marsha Gordon attended a private briefing and press conference hosted by Governor David Paterson to formally announce his Deficit Reduction Plan (DRP) for New York State. Dr. Gordon was among 30 business leaders from across the state to attend the briefing, where she pledged her support for the Governor's plan which requires approval from the state legislature.
